Go read/look at these things. I have presents to buy this morning:

• Absolutely fascinated/in awe of Brian Moylan (and the Japanese wrapping style in the comments). I am not a great gift wrapper and now I wish I was. Perhaps my movie postered gifts that I do for my brothers will actually be tidy this year. I do have a long, hexagonal box to wrap, though, which’ll probably be thrown in a gift bag after a violent struggle with wrapping paper.
• Read a shorter version of this yesterday, but this one has a great headline. An Indian Inventor Disrupts The Period Industry. It really is a wonderful story.
• Mark Watson is touring the U.K. (and bits of Australia) next year. I think you should go if can.
• Roger Ebert has released his Best Films of 2011. We played or are playing 13 of them, so I’m feeling pretty smug. Even though I’m not the programmer.
